Music has had an affect on everyone throughout their lives and has a huge affect on our country's history as well. for example during the raoring 20's in the United States, Jazz music gave an inspiration to the people of Harlem and gave a different look on life. Music brought back joy and confidence in the country after world war one. It also has a huge affect on lives of teenagers today. I know many people who when are down listen to music to cheer them up, to get everything out of the way, to clear their minds. On the other hand there are those who listen to music to pump them up before the "big game" or just when they have fun.
Music also has had an affect on my life, it gives me something to do when I'm bored as well as pumping me up before I play any sport. It takes allows me to be tuned out from the rest of the world and lets me feel worry free. Some ones music , what they have on their ipods, their mp3s or on their computers describes the person they are. Music to some are anti-drugs , and without it our youth might have more who do drugs , who turn to violence instead of expressing their emotions in a calm conservative way.

I believe music is very important and I agree that it keeps people calm and worry free. It does help me get pumped up for anything I do. I feel like its a legal steroid that gives me positive energy before I do my activities like basketball and football. It doesn't only give you energy before an activity but can give you energy during an activity like breakdancing. It gives you the rythm to express yourself in different ways and shows what kind of energy you have like , cheerful, explosive and like you said calm.
ReplyDeleteI like that you referenced a bit about what you have learned about Jazz, but I feel thus could be much more developed.
